- A Florida Driver License is required within 30 days for any driver who becomes a Florida resident, is employed in Florida, or who registers a child in a Florida public school.

- New residents are required to pass only a vision exam if they have a valid license from another state.

- Your vehicle must be registered before you may obtain a Florida license.

- A new license costs $20 and is valid for 6 years. Renewal is $15.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY

In Escambia county, water and sewage service is provided by Escambia Couty Utilities Authority. A deposit of between $30 to $90.60 depending on your location is required and your water bill will be determined by these rates. Sewage is $21.80 per month for the first three months and then determined by these rates thereafter. To get your water or sewage service turned on you need to present a valid driver's license or picture ID, social security, senior citizens, or voter registration card at either of the following offices:
